Christy
Cargill Best invites you to visit her web site at
www.clutterbug.net. Stewart Odell reports on 5/12/05 that our classmate, Marlin Butcher, musician in Oklahoma's premiere cover band Harvey and the Wallbangers, has sustained a broken vertebrae as the result of an accident last week. He is recovering at Norman Regional Hospital. All us music geeks (and friends as well) wish him a speedy convalescence so he can return to performing as well as his job at the Noble Museum of Natural History in Norman as well as his admirable involvement in the Boy Scouts for the State of Oklahoma, an activity in which he has participated for many years. Stewart also reports that he and classmate James Allen, who retired from the Navy with the rank of Commander just last month, recently traveled to London to attend the reunion concert of the 60s supergroup Cream at the Royal Albert Hall. This is noteworthy only because they both survived, as did London, and had a most enjoyable time. Jim is now moving from his home in Georgia to Iowa, where he has just accepted a managerial position with a nuclear power generating plant there.
